General Partnership

A General Partnership (Dutch: vennootschap onder firma (V.O.F.)) is a partnership for the practice of a trade which is entered into under a common name, there is a division between business and private capital. The General Partnership  is not a legal entity and each partner is severally liable for the commitments of the General Partnership. A General Partnership is entered into by authentic or private deed.

Registration

There is a legal obligation for a General Partnership to be registered with the registry held by the chamber of commerce.
